Rollins Distinguished Service Award
This award is named in memory of Jana Rollins, a Charter Member of SEASCUS.  She served as the Director of Placement at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee.

The Rollins Award may be presented to a current or former member of SAEE (formerly SEASCUS) who has made significant contributions to SAEE or to the fields of career planning, placement or recruitment.  Nominees are evaluated according to their participation or leadership roles in SAEE; their innovative contributions to the profession; and their publications, presentations and research activities.

Current members may nominate individuals. Nominations will be submitted to the Awards Committee who will then select the recipient(s) and send their names to the Board of Directors for approval.

New Member Award
The New Member Leadership Awards will be instituted by SAEE in 2005. This award will be implemented to recognize meritorious service to the Association by new members (defined by 3 years or less) during the current year. The purpose of this award is to enable SAEE to recognize and express its appreciation to an individual for their involvement and dedication in the Association. This active member, whose support, effort, and initiative has fostered the development of education in the United States through the SAEE Association will recognized at the annual conference. Nominations will be made by the current membership of the Association. Decisions on recipients will be made by the Archives and Awards Committee and approved by the Board.

Guidelines
The individual must be a new SAEE member associated with the organization 3 years or less. In general, consideration for receiving the award will be given to an SAEE member who has performed services for the Association on an outstanding basis during the given year. The nominee must have demonstrated a commitment to the philosophical ideals of SAEE by actively participating in SAEE committees and/or representing the organization at the local, state, regional, and/or national level.
