The Current State of Teacher Recruitment

Join teacher recruiters and university career services professionals from across the Southeast for our lunch-hour webinar series on experiences and observations of the teacher recruitment and job seeking climate for Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

Each webinar will be co-presented by a public school personnel administrator and university career services professional who will each present their respective state’s climate and recent observations before opening the session up to participant questions and discussions.

Call for Presenters:

We are currently seeking school and career service representatives (two from each state) who would be willing to present their observations and experiences of recruitment climate and/or student teacher job searches from Spring and Summer 2010 going into the school year. Each facilitator will present for 20 minutes and then the webinar will open for quesitons and discussions. Please contact Karri Murray at kkmurray@uncc.edu if interested (schedule can change based on your availability). Webinar hosting site (UNC Charlotte) will take care of all technology and preparation.
