SAEE conducts an annual conference designed to address member concerns and establish professional contacts. Services include: the publication of a directory of SAEE members entitled "The Who's Who of Teacher Placement and Recruitment in the Southeast," a master recruiting calendar and Hot Topics (what used to be SLATE, our newsletter).  SAEE also selects up to two student teacher scholarship recipients each year. 

SAEE is also looking for service projects to conduct in the Charlotte area for the January 2007 Conference.  We would like to do something for the local school system.  If you have any ideas, please contact Karri Murray, kkmurray@email.uncc.edu
